Kargil Vijay Diwas: Remembering the Heroes
Every year on 26th July, India commemorates Kargil Vijay Diwas to honor the brave soldiers who fought in the Kargil War of 1999. This day marks the successful completion of “Operation Vijay,” which aimed to reclaim the Indian territories occupied by Pakistani infiltrators in the Kargil-Dras sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
Kargil Vijay Diwas is a tribute to the indomitable courage, unwavering spirit, and supreme sacrifice of our armed forces. Ceremonies and events are held across the country to pay homage to the martyrs and acknowledge the valor of those who defended the nation with their lives.
